experience & qualifications: studied at Portsmouth, UK; degree, post graduate diploma, RIBA parts 1 & 2, award for outstanding design.
first architectural position at Hampshire County Architects; an extended 2.5 year placement which culminated in the co-design, with Nev Churcher [MBE] of Woodlea School, Whitehill, Hants. They were awarded BBC Designer of the Year, RIBA Building of the Year. Various post graduate positions including design team manager at Carpenter, Oak & Woodland, Inscape Architects, part-time teaching and lecturing at Cardiff, Bath and Oxford Brookes. She is currently tutoring part-time at UWE, and running her own practice; tangentstudio ltd.

past influential projects: Oxford Brookes, ‘unit e’ with Dr Tonia Carless; working with the students and local schools. Wellington lane, Bristol, a transformation collaboration with artist Annabel Other of a 7ft wide, 33ft long hay store.The building became a venue for many open arts events, knitting conventions, erotic puppet shows, flower arranging competitions as well as trapeze artists. It is now a live-work studio.
